Similarly, Ekaterina Kaligaeva from Belarus found parallels between the Mid-Autumn Festival and celebrations back home. “In Belarus, we celebrate Kupala Night during the summer solstice. It’s a time of dancing, singing, and celebrating nature,” Ekaterina explained. “Being in China for the Mid-Autumn Festival makes me feel connected to my own traditions.”
