Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng is set to visit Switzerland from May 9 to 12 at the invitation of the Swiss government, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced.
During his visit, He will hold talks with Swiss leaders and other relevant parties to discuss key economic and trade issues.
As China’s lead representative for China-U.S. economic and trade affairs, He is also expected to meet with the U.S. Treasury Secretary in Switzerland. The meeting aims to address ongoing economic relations between China and the United States.
Following his visit to Switzerland, the vice premier will travel to France from May 12 to 16. He will co-chair the 10th China-France High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue with French officials, aiming to strengthen economic ties and cooperation between the two nations.
