Experts from around the world gathered in New York City on May 24-25 for a conference hosted by the Schiller Institute, themed “A Beautiful Vision for Humanity in Times of Great Turbulence.”
The conference focused on how development is unfolding in the Global South, addressing critical issues such as the settlement of the question of Palestine and the two-state solution, as well as humanitarian relief and global development challenges.
“The Global South has been deprived of that human right of economic development, now that is changing,” said Richard A. Black, a New York Representative for the Schiller Institute.
Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to promote equitable growth and resolve longstanding conflicts affecting millions around the world.
