China Unveils New Plan to Supercharge Innovation Among Businesses
In a bold move to boost innovation, China has rolled out new guidelines encouraging big companies to team up with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Announced on Tuesday, the guidelines aim to create a collaborative environment where businesses of all sizes can thrive together.
“We're entering a new era where large, medium, and small enterprises work hand in hand,” said Guo Chunli, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). “This large-scale collaboration is what's driving innovation forward.”
The policies encourage big corporations to share their resources, offering technical guidance and supporting technology transfers to SMEs. By doing so, they hope to spark joint innovation and build a vibrant and efficient ecosystem.
“When companies open up and collaborate, amazing things can happen,” Guo added. “It's all about creating opportunities for everyone to innovate and succeed.”
This initiative is expected to strengthen the synergy among private enterprises, leading to exciting advancements in technology and economic growth.
