At the China International Supply Chain Expo, Bernardo Mendia, secretary-general of the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised China’s role in global supply chains. In an interview with CGTN, he stated that China is the number one in supply chain, emphasizing the benefits of an efficient supply chain for consumers worldwide.
“An efficient supply chain means products reach consumers faster and at lower costs,” Mendia said. “China’s advancements in supply chain management have set a global standard.”
Mendia highlighted the importance of collaboration between China and other countries in enhancing global trade and logistics. He pointed out that China’s infrastructure, technology, and expertise make it a leader in this field.
“By working closely with China, countries like Portugal can improve their own supply chains and boost economic growth,” he added.
