China has reaffirmed its commitment to global development through high-level opening up, with Foreign Minister Wang Yi inviting the world to participate in the opportunities offered by the Hainan Free Trade Port.
Speaking at a promotional event in Beijing, Wang Yi highlighted the rapid growth and increasing appeal of the Hainan Free Trade Port, noting that it has become a hotspot for regional cooperation and a driving force in economic globalization.
“Choosing China means choosing opportunities, and embracing China means embracing the future,” Wang said, emphasizing the nation’s dedication to fostering a business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized.
The event showcased presentations from Hainan officials to over 500 attendees, including diplomats, international organization representatives, and business leaders from around the world.
Launched in June 2020, China’s master plan aims to develop Hainan into a globally influential and high-level free trade port by mid-century, opening new horizons for international trade and cooperation.
