China and France Pledge to Deepen Economic Ties for Mutual Growth

On Thursday, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng held virtual talks with French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty Antoine Armand. The discussions delved deep into recent economic collaborations and common interests between the two nations.

He Lifeng emphasized the importance of implementing the consensus reached by the leaders of both countries. "We should deepen cooperation in economic and financial fields, strengthen our complementarity, and strive for mutual benefit and win-win results," he stated. He highlighted the need for steady and sound development of China-France economic and trade relations.

Echoing this sentiment, Antoine Armand expressed France’s willingness to enhance coordination with China. "We aim to constantly expand our bilateral cooperation to a wider range and a deeper level," Armand said, underscoring the potential for growth in various sectors.
