China Calls for Political Solution to Restore Stability in Syria As Soon As Possible

China Urges Political Solution for Stability in Syria

China has called on all parties involved in the Syrian conflict to prioritize the fundamental interests of the Syrian people and work towards a political solution to restore stability. During a press briefing on Monday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning emphasized the importance of political means in resolving the ongoing crisis.

“The future of Syria should be decided by the Syrian people,” Mao Ning stated. “We hope that all relevant parties, guided by the principle of responsibility for the long-term and fundamental interests of the Syrian people, will seek political means to restore stability and order as soon as possible.”

The Syrian conflict, which began in 2011, has resulted in significant humanitarian challenges, including the displacement of millions and widespread infrastructure damage. China’s call highlights the need for a unified approach to bring peace to the region.

China has consistently advocated for non-interference and supports a Syrian-led political process. By urging dialogue and negotiation, China seeks to contribute to international efforts aimed at ending the conflict and rebuilding the nation.
