Xi Jinping Urges All-Out Battle Against Corruption

Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for a resolute and all-out battle against corruption in the country. Speaking on Monday at the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Xi emphasized the need for rigorous Party governance with the spirit of reform.

Xi, who serves as General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, highlighted the importance of maintaining a zero-tolerance stance on corruption. He urged Party members to remain vigilant and committed to upholding integrity within the ranks.

“The fight against corruption is a protracted war that we must win,” Xi stated. “We must continue to purify the political environment and ensure that our Party remains strong and resilient.”

The CCDI is China’s top anti-corruption body, responsible for internal discipline within the CPC. Under Xi’s leadership, the anti-corruption campaign has seen numerous officials investigated and punished for corrupt practices.

Xi’s remarks reinforce the government’s commitment to rooting out corruption at all levels, aiming to bolster public trust and maintain social stability.
