China and Vietnam Pledge Stronger Ties on 75th Anniversary

China and Vietnam are strengthening their relationship as they mark the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic ties. On Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Vietnamese Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu in Beijing. The meeting was part of the first strategic consultation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

Wang Yi emphasized the importance of promoting the China-Vietnam community with a shared future, aiming to reach new milestones in their partnership. He stated that China is prepared to work with Vietnam to maintain high-level exchanges, deepen strategic mutual trust, and expand mutually beneficial cooperation to support their modernization efforts.

Nguyen Minh Vu expressed Vietnam’s commitment to prioritizing its relationship with China. He pledged to enhance high-level exchanges and fully utilize dialogue mechanisms between their foreign ministries and other departments. He highlighted Vietnam’s dedication to making tangible progress in building the Vietnam-China community with a shared future.
