China Ready to Work with New U.S. Administration

China has expressed readiness to work with the new United States administration to properly manage differences and enhance cooperation. At a regular press conference on Monday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated that cooperation benefits both countries, while confrontation hurts both.

“A stable, healthy, and sustainable development of China-U.S. relations is in the common interests of both countries and the expectations of the international community,” Mao said. She added that China is prepared to uphold mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win results with the new U.S. leadership.

Emphasizing the importance of dialogue, Mao said China aims to enhance communication, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, and find a correct path for the two countries to get along. As the new U.S. administration takes office, global attention is focused on the future of China-U.S. relations, which is crucial for international stability and development.
