China successfully launched a new test satellite for communication technology from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province on Thursday night. The satellite, carried by a Long March-3B rocket, lifted off at 11:32 p.m. Beijing Time and has successfully entered its planned orbit.
According to officials at the launch center, the satellite will support satellite communications, radio and television broadcasting, and data transmission services. It will also be used to test and validate related technologies, paving the way for future advancements in communication technology.
This launch marks the 558th mission of the Long March series carrier rockets, highlighting China’s ongoing progress in space exploration and technology development.
