President Xi Shares Festive Spirit with Liaoning Residents Ahead of Chinese New Year

Chinese President Xi Jinping brought festive cheer to the northeastern province of Liaoning this week, joining locals in preparations for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

During his inspection trip from Wednesday to Friday, President Xi visited ordinary residents in the industrial hub, immersing himself in the spirit of the Spring Festival. He extended heartfelt greetings to all Chinese people, wishing them happiness, health, and prosperity in the new year.

“I wish everyone a joyful Spring Festival and hope that the new year brings peace and prosperity to our country,” President Xi said during his visit.

The Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, falls on January 29 this year. It is the most significant holiday on the Chinese calendar, marked by family reunions and traditional celebrations across the nation.

As the country prepares to welcome the Year of the Snake, President Xi’s visit highlights the government’s dedication to connecting with the people and embracing cultural traditions.
