Beijing, China — Wang Huning, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC), extended warm Spring Festival greetings to religious leaders and believers across the country on Thursday.
As a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Wang met with leaders of national religious groups ahead of the Chinese New Year.
During the symposium, Wang praised the contributions of religious communities in 2024 and called for continued efforts to develop religions within the Chinese context.
