Xi Jinping, Chairman of the Central Military Commission, has signed an order to implement revised regulations on scientific research related to military equipment. These new rules aim to modernize and enhance the development of military technology in the Chinese mainland.
The regulations address key areas such as quality control, cost management, acceptance procedures, support measures, and issues of safety and confidentiality. Comprising 49 articles across eight chapters, the updated guidelines are set to take effect on March 1.
This move marks a significant step in strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of military equipment research, ensuring that the military remains at the forefront of technological advancement.
