China’s Long March-8 Carries New Satellites into Space

China has successfully launched a new group of low-Earth orbit satellites, marking another milestone in its rapidly advancing space program. The satellites were sent into space from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in southern China’s Hainan Province on Tuesday.

The launch took place at 5:30 p.m. Beijing Time, utilizing a modified Long March-8 carrier rocket. Shortly after liftoff, the satellites successfully entered their planned orbits, signaling yet another achievement for the Long March series, China’s workhorse rocket family.

This mission represents the 559th launch of the Long March series carrier rockets. The Long March-8, known for its versatility and efficiency, plays a crucial role in deploying satellites for various applications, including communication, earth observation, and scientific research.
