Zhang Xiaogang, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, highlighted the significance of the exercise. “The participation showcases our resolve to jointly safeguard maritime security,” Zhang said. The drills focused on joint anti-piracy operations, search and rescue missions, and air defense tactics. Activities also included professional exchanges and ship visits among the participating nations.
The exercise strengthened communication and cooperation between the Chinese navy and other maritime forces. China’s involvement underscores its dedication to fulfilling international responsibilities and contributing to global peace and stability.
