At the Munich Security Conference, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on all nations to come together under the United Nations to build a fairer and more just world.
Speaking at the “China in the World” event, Wang Yi acknowledged that different countries might have their own views on international rules. However, he stressed that everyone agrees on the importance of supporting an international system centered around the UN and guided by its Charter.
“China has grown within the current international order and benefits from it,” Wang said. “We should work to make this order more just and reasonable, reflecting the wishes of most countries.”
He highlighted China’s commitment to global responsibilities, expressing readiness to offer more support to the international community. Wang mentioned China’s global initiatives as an invitation for nations to collaborate on solving big challenges like development, security, and governance issues.
“We’ve proposed building a community with a shared future for mankind,” Wang explained. “This idea has been understood and supported by more and more countries. We will keep contributing to making this vision a reality.”
Wang Yi’s message emphasizes China’s aim to strengthen international cooperation and unity under the UN to address global problems together.
