Chinese Vice Premier Urges Japanese Companies to Invest in China

Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng has called on Japanese companies to invest and develop in China, highlighting the potential for win-win cooperation between the two nations. During a meeting in Beijing with a visiting Japanese business delegation on Monday, He emphasized China’s commitment to high-level opening-up.

He Lifeng, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, noted the deep economic integration and extensive shared interests between China and Japan. He expressed hope that the Japanese business community would play a positive role in strengthening economic ties.

“We welcome companies from Japan and other countries to continue investing in China and to share in our development opportunities,” He said.

Leaders of the Japanese delegation—including Masakazu Tokura, Chairman of the Japan Business Federation; Kosei Shindo, Chairman of the Japan-China Economic Association; and Ken Kobayashi, Chairman of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry—expressed their willingness to expand investment in China. They emphasized their commitment to contributing to mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

This meeting highlights the ongoing efforts by both nations to enhance economic collaboration, offering promising prospects for businesses on both sides.
