ne Zha 2 Themed Tree Paintings Wow Visitors at Park in China

Student’s ‘Ne Zha 2’ Tree Art Transforms Park in East China

A park in Huaibei, east China’s Anhui Province, has become a hotspot for residents and tourists, thanks to striking tree paintings inspired by the popular Chinese blockbuster Ne Zha 2. The artworks have visitors reaching for their cameras, eager to capture the unique blend of nature and art.

The creative mind behind these eye-catching pieces is local sophomore student Xiong Jiayi. Invited by the park to enhance its public spaces, Xiong chose to bring his favorite movie characters to life by painting them onto the hollows and scars of trees throughout the park.

“I wanted to use the trees’ natural forms to add depth to the characters,” Xiong said. “Ne Zha 2 has always been an inspiration to me, and I thought this would be a perfect way to share that with others.”

In total, Xiong has created 12 paintings, each featuring a different character from the film. Using environmentally friendly pigments, his work not only brings joy to park-goers but also helps repair and protect the trees.

The unique project has been praised for its innovative approach to urban beautification. Visitors have expressed delight at the unexpected discoveries around each corner. “It’s amazing to see art integrated so seamlessly with nature,” one tourist commented. “This park feels alive with creativity.”

As word spreads, more people are flocking to the park to witness Xiong’s artwork firsthand. The fusion of natural elements with beloved cultural icons has struck a chord with many, turning the park into a must-visit destination in Anhui Province.
