“It feels special to come back to the track,” Su shared on social media after the race. “Everything I recall since my first indoor race 20 years ago became memories. I have finished my last 60-meter race of my career in 6.65 seconds. I want to thank the organizing committee and the friends who have been supporting me. I will continue to focus on recovering and prepare for my final National Games of China at home.”
The upcoming 15th National Games of China are scheduled to take place from November 9 to 21 in south China’s Guangdong Province, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Macao Special Administrative Region. Su has announced that he will retire after competing in these Games.
