The spokesperson highlighted the strong and resilient relationship between the two nations, emphasizing its solid internal foundation that remains unaffected by external pressures.
This statement came after recent comments from U.S. officials expressing concern over the closeness of China-Russia relations. In response, the Chinese spokesperson stressed that both countries have long-term development strategies and foreign policies aimed at mutual benefit and stability.
“Our bilateral relationship has its own internal driving force,” the spokesperson said during a regular press conference. “No third party can influence the progression of China-Russia relations. Despite changes in the international situation, our partnership will continue to advance steadily.”
