China took a significant leap in its space endeavors this Thursday by successfully launching a Long March-2C carrier rocket, placing two new satellites into orbit.
The rocket soared into the sky at 3:08 p.m. Beijing Time from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. This mission carried the Siwei Gaojing-1 03 and Siwei Gaojing-1 04 satellites, which were successfully delivered to their predetermined orbits.
