In an impressive display of skill, Heilongjiang 4 swept past Guizhou 2 with an 8-1 victory to claim the mixed doubles title at the Chinese Curling League stop in Lyuliang, Shanxi Province, on Wednesday.
Heilongjiang started strong, scoring one point in each of the first three ends to build a 3-0 lead. The momentum continued in the fourth end when Zhu Zeyangxu’s precise delivery secured two additional points, stretching their lead to 5-0.
Guizhou 2 fought back with a point in the fifth end, but Heilongjiang 4 quickly countered with two more points in the sixth. Facing a significant deficit, Guizhou conceded after the seventh end, acknowledging Heilongjiang’s dominance.
