China has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the United States’ decision to impose an additional 10% tariff on Chinese imports. However, the spokesperson criticized the U.S. for shifting blame and using the fentanyl issue as a pretext to impose additional tariffs on Chinese goods. “What the U.S. side has done is a typical act of unilateralism and bullying in disregard of facts, international trade rules, and the voice of all parties,” the spokesperson stated.
