Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has reaffirmed China’s objective and impartial stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, emphasizing the importance of peace through dialogue. Speaking at a press conference on Friday during the third session of the 14th National People’s Congress, Wang stressed that China’s voice has remained calm and balanced since the onset of the crisis.
“China has been calling for a political settlement through dialogue and negotiation from the very beginning,” Wang stated. “We have been actively working for peace and pushing for talks.”
He highlighted China’s support for all efforts aimed at peace, adding, “No one wins in a conflict, but everyone gains in peace. The negotiating table is where the conflict ends and peace starts.”
Wang’s remarks underscore China’s commitment to fostering peaceful resolutions and encouraging open communication between nations involved in the conflict.
