China’s Shenzhou-19 taikonauts, currently residing in the nation’s orbiting space station, are gearing up for their third spacewalk in the coming days, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
Since completing their second series of extravehicular activities (EVAs) on January 21, the Shenzhou-19 crew members have been in excellent condition. They have conducted in-orbit training for rendezvous and docking procedures, full-system pressure emergency drills, and various other missions. The crew has also been busy with environmental monitoring, equipment inspection, and maintenance tasks inside the space station.
The upcoming spacewalk will further advance China’s ambitious space exploration goals, showcasing the taikonauts’ skills in conducting complex operations outside the spacecraft.
