China has voiced strong opposition to the United States’ decision to add dozens of Chinese firms to its export control “entity list.” A spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce stated on Wednesday that this move aims to suppress and restrict foreign entities, depriving nations of their right to development.
The spokesperson emphasized that the U.S. actions will severely harm the legitimate rights of the affected entities and undermine the stability and security of the global supply chain. The decision is seen as detrimental to resolving issues through dialogue and cooperation.
“We urge the United States to immediately cease this wrongdoing,” the spokesperson said, adding that China will take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of its entities.
