China and Republic of Congo Boost Ties, Setting Example for Africa Cooperation

China and the Republic of Congo have taken their relationship to a new level, setting a shining example for China-Africa cooperation. On Friday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his Congolese counterpart Jean-Claude Gakosso in Beijing to discuss the strengthening bonds between the two nations.

Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized the deep understanding, trust, and support that define the relationship between China and the Republic of Congo. He noted that their partnership has become a model of solidarity and cooperation between China and African countries.

“The relations between our two countries have maintained a strong momentum of development,” Wang Yi said. “This brings tangible benefits to our peoples and plays an important role in the development and prosperity of Africa.”

Jean-Claude Gakosso praised China as a great and sincere friend to the Republic of Congo and all African nations. “We are willing to work closely with China to promote more achievements in China-Africa cooperation,” he stated.

The meeting underscores the commitment of both nations to deepen their collaboration, contributing to the broader development goals of the African continent and strengthening international partnerships.
