Unveiling Zhejiang’s Journey: New Book Highlights China’s Modernization
A new book titled China’s Development in the New Era – The Zhejiang Experience was launched in Beijing, shedding light on the pivotal role of Zhejiang province in China’s rapid modernization. The book, authored by David W. Ferguson, the honorary English chief editor at Foreign Languages Press (FLP), offers an in-depth look into the eastern Chinese province’s contribution to the nation’s sustainable development.
At the event on Thursday, jointly hosted by FLP and the Zhejiang International Communication Center (ZICC), Ferguson discussed his inspirations and experiences while writing the book. Attendees at the launch included representatives from the public communication departments of cities like Yiwu, Anji, Deqing, and Kecheng, as well as international students from universities across Beijing.
