The Chengdu stop of the 2025 World Games Tour concluded on Sunday, marking an exciting prelude to the 12th World Games scheduled for August in Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan Province.

Over three thrilling days, 122 athletes from 28 countries and regions—including the Chinese mainland, Italy, and Spain—competed fiercely for 30 gold medals and coveted qualification spots in three sports: diving, life-saving, and boules.

This event served as one of the key qualifiers for the upcoming World Games, offering athletes a chance to secure their place in the international competition. The enthusiasm and high-level performances showcased the growing global interest in non-Olympic sports.

As the countdown continues to the World Games from August 7 to 17, Chengdu is gearing up to host athletes and fans from around the world. The games will highlight a diverse range of non-Olympic sports, promising a unique and captivating experience for all attendees.
