Chinese Ram Union Rescue Team Concludes Mission in Earthquake-Stricken Myanmar

A Chinese civilian rescue team from east China’s Zhejiang Province has concluded its search and rescue operations in Myanmar following a devastating earthquake. The Ram Union team wrapped up their five-day mission after arriving in Mandalay last Saturday.

During their time in the quake-hit region, the team successfully rescued five survivors from the rubble and assisted in the recovery and transfer of 28 bodies. Their efforts provided much-needed support to local authorities and communities grappling with the aftermath of the disaster.

“We are honored to have been able to assist in Myanmar during this difficult time,” said a spokesperson for the Ram Union team. “Our thoughts are with the families affected by this tragedy.”

The earthquake has left significant damage in its wake, with rescue operations ongoing as local and international teams work tirelessly to find survivors and provide aid.
