China and Bosnia and Herzegovina Celebrate 30 Years of Diplomatic Relations

China and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) are celebrating a milestone in their bilateral relationship as leaders from both nations exchanged warm congratulations on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Zeljka Cvijanovic, the rotating Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighted the strong foundations of their countries’ friendship. Since establishing diplomatic relations three decades ago, China and BiH have fostered mutual respect, equality, and win-win cooperation.

President Xi emphasized that the relationship between China and BiH serves as an example of friendly coexistence and joint development between countries with different sizes, histories, cultures, and social systems. He expressed his commitment to further strengthen the traditional friendship and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, aiming to elevate China-BiH relations to new heights for the greater benefit of both peoples.

Cvijanovic echoed these sentiments, noting that over the past 30 years, China and BiH have enjoyed solid friendship and fruitful cooperation across various fields. She expressed BiH’s willingness to further deepen bilateral relations with China to achieve common prosperity.
