China Media Group (CMG) has launched an exhibition of premium TV and film programs in Hanoi, Vietnam, marking a significant cultural exchange ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s upcoming state visit to the Southeast Asian nation.
The showcase features eight high-quality productions, including “Xi Jinping’s Cultural Story,” “Lift Out of Poverty,” “China: Race to the Future,” and “A Bite of China (Season 2).” These programs will be aired on mainstream Vietnamese media platforms such as Vietnam Television and Coolita until the end of June.
Through diverse narratives, the exhibition aims to present a panoramic view of China’s modernization and the rich tapestry of Chinese culture. Vietnamese audiences will have the opportunity to learn about China’s achievements in poverty alleviation, experience the dynamic energy of contemporary China, and appreciate the unique charm of its cultural heritage.
“I’m particularly interested in China’s advancements in technology, especially in artificial intelligence and 5G,” said Helena, a Vietnamese visitor at the exhibition. “I look forward to gaining deeper insights into China’s high-quality development through programs like ‘China: Race to the Future.'”
Hannah, another attendee, expressed her excitement about “A Bite of China (Season 2).” She believes the documentary will immerse viewers in authentic Chinese culinary culture and provide profound insights into local customs across China’s diverse regions.
The exhibition signifies a strengthening of cultural ties between China and Vietnam, fostering mutual understanding and friendship among the younger generations of both countries.
