China recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions by honoring thousands of model workers and exemplary individuals. In a grand ceremony held on Monday, 1,670 people were recognized as national role model workers, while 756 were acknowledged as exemplary individuals.
The honorees represent a diverse range of professions, from traditional sectors like agriculture and manufacturing to emerging fields. Notably, this year’s list includes inheritors of China’s rich traditional culture and representatives from new professions, such as delivery workers and domestic service trainers.
This event, now in its 17th edition, showcases the dedication, patriotism, and creativity of workers in the new era. The celebration highlights the significant contributions these individuals have made to the nation’s development and serves as an inspiration for people across the country.
