The tariff war initiated by the United States government involves acts of deception and is disliked by many countries, according to former Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkić. In a recent interview with China Media Group, Mrkić shared his concerns over the impact of US tariffs on global trade.
“Many nations are dissatisfied with the tariff policies of the US,” Mrkić stated. “These actions disrupt the global economic balance and undermine trust between countries.”
He emphasized the importance of honest and fair trade practices, especially for developing countries in the Global South. Mrkić warned that deceptive tariff measures could lead to increased tensions and economic instability.
“We need transparency and mutual respect in international trade,” he added. “Only through cooperation can we achieve sustainable economic growth that benefits all.”
