China Media Group (CMG) aired a special program on Thursday night to celebrate International Labor Day, honoring national role model workers and exemplary individuals. Titled “Labor is the Source of All Happiness”, the show highlighted the century-long journey of the trade union movement led by the Communist Party of China.
The program showcased the spirit of labor, craftsmanship, and the stories of hardworking people in the new era through diverse artistic forms. It celebrated the dedication and contributions of workers across the nation.
This year is significant as it marks the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and the year when national role model workers are commended once every five years.
