He called for joint efforts to oppose power politics and unilateral bullying, aiming to safeguard international fairness and justice.
Highlighting the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, Xi expressed China’s willingness to work with Cuba to further solidify their friendship. He envisions building a closer China-Cuba community with a shared future, setting an exemplary model of unity and cooperation among socialist countries and fostering sincere mutual assistance among developing nations.
President Diaz-Canel acknowledged the strong ties between Cuba and China, expressing gratitude for China’s longstanding support in Cuba’s economic and social development. He affirmed Cuba’s adherence to the one-China principle and its commitment to enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation and friendly exchanges between their peoples.
Diaz-Canel added that Cuba supports China’s three major global initiatives and is ready to join forces in opposing unilateralism and protectionism, safeguarding the common interests of the international community.
