Capybara on the Loose: Zoo Offers Reward for Missing Doubao

In an unexpected turn of events, Doubao, a one-and-a-half-year-old capybara, has escaped from the Zhuyuwan Scenic Area zoo in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. The zoo is now offering a free ticket to anyone who provides valid information leading to her safe return.

On April 3, Doubao and her companions, Bazong and Duoduo, made a daring escape after Bazong smashed through a wooden panel in their enclosure. While Bazong and Duoduo have since been recaptured and returned to the zoo, Doubao remains at large.

The zoo has reinforced its enclosures with protective nets to prevent future breakouts. Staff members are actively searching for Doubao and are encouraging local residents to assist in the search.

"Doubao is friendly but may be scared in unfamiliar surroundings. We hope the community can help us bring her back safely," a zoo spokesperson said.

If you have any leads on Doubao’s whereabouts, you might earn yourself a complimentary trip to the zoo. The search continues for this adventurous capybara, and your help could make all the difference.
