Amid the clear skies of mid-May, Beijing’s Haidian Park has been transformed into a vibrant, living masterpiece reminiscent of Claude Monet’s iconic paintings. The park is hosting a major garden-themed event, turning its landscape into a real-life “Monet Garden” that captivates visitors with a riot of colors and lush greenery.
A total of 30 “citizen gardens” have been meticulously set up throughout Haidian Park, showcasing the creativity and gardening skills of local residents. The exhibition features 127 varieties of plants in 29 categories, including selections from both China and abroad, offering a rich tapestry of flora that delights the senses.
The event has drawn crowds of visitors eager to immerse themselves in the floral displays, snapping photos and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Running until May 16, the exhibition provides a feast for the eyes and a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of nature in the heart of Beijing.
