An exciting fusion of technology and international collaboration is set to take center stage at the 4th China–Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Expo. Hosted in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province from May 22 to 25, the event themed “New Visions for the Future” will showcase groundbreaking innovations from China and the CEEC, highlighting a new era of cross-regional development.
Unveiling Cutting-Edge Tech
Ningbo, a sci-tech hub in the Yangtze River Delta, will demonstrate its technological prowess by launching the first-ever “Digital & Intelligent CEEC” exhibition area. This space will bring together global tech leaders presenting the latest in robotics and augmented reality. Chinese companies like Shanghai Zhiyuan Robotics and Beijing Xingdong Era, along with Zhejiang-based innovators such as Unitree and DeepSeek, will display humanoid robots, quadruped robots, and interactive AR technologies. Local pioneers including the Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center will also showcase over 10 humanoid robots and other trailblazing advancements.
CEEC Innovations on Display
Central and Eastern European countries are set to impress with their own technological marvels. Hungary’s immersive VR park will transport visitors into a multisensory digital realm, while Slovenia’s Pipistrel will present cutting-edge electric aircraft known for their lightweight and high-performance design. Additionally, Hungary’s interactive “Magic Wall” will engage audiences with a gesture-controlled exploration of Hungarian history and culture, blending technological innovation with rich heritage.
Slovakia and Slovenia: Guests of Honor
As dual guests of honor, Slovakia and Slovenia will expand their presence beyond traditional offerings. Slovenia’s national pavilion, themed “Green, Innovative, Smart,” will feature zones dedicated to green ecology, food tasting, and the low-altitude economy, highlighting clean energy applications and electric gliders. Slovakia will shine a spotlight on cultural crafts, premium wines, and smart mobility solutions, including crystal products and general aviation projects.
Forging New Partnerships
The expo will serve as a platform for fostering deeper cooperation between China and the CEEC. Industrial matchmaking events like the Slovenia Port Cooperation Conference and Slovakia’s General Aviation Project Promotion aim to boost cross-border collaboration in sectors such as virtual reality and aviation. Investment initiatives like the 2025 “Invest in Zhejiang” New Energy Vehicle Industry Matchmaking will further enhance partnerships in emerging industries.
A Glimpse into the Future
From humanoid robots to clean energy solutions, the 4th China-CEEC Expo promises to be a showcase of technological breakthroughs. This event not only highlights the innovative spirit of participating countries but also marks a new starting point for joint exploration of technological frontiers and industrial development with an open and collaborative approach.
