Slovakia’s Rasi Explores Future at 4th China-CEEC Expo in Ningbo

Richard Rasi, the chairman of the Slovak National Council, made a significant appearance at the 4th China-CEEC Expo held in Ningbo. Six years after leading a delegation to the expo’s first edition in 2019, Rasi returned as Slovakia took center stage as the guest country of honor.

In an exclusive interview with CGTN’s Xu Jinhui, Rasi highlighted the key areas and special products that Slovakia is showcasing at this year’s expo. He expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities the expo presents for enhancing trade and cultural exchanges between China and Slovakia.

“This expo is a bridge connecting our nations,” Rasi remarked. “We are excited to introduce Slovak innovation and culture to new audiences in China.”

Since elevating bilateral ties to a strategic partnership last November, China and Slovakia have been working closely to strengthen cooperation. Rasi shared his vision for the future of China-Slovakia relations, emphasizing the potential for collaboration in areas such as technology, manufacturing, and education.

The China-CEEC Expo serves as a platform for Central and Eastern European countries to engage with China, promoting mutual understanding and economic growth. Slovakia’s prominent role this year reflects the growing importance of its relationship with China.

Young people around the world are watching these developments with interest, as they open up new possibilities for cultural exchange and global collaboration.
