The 4th China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Expo and International Consumer Goods Fair has kicked off in Ningbo, bringing together cutting-edge technology and innovation from around the globe. With the theme “New Visions for the Future,” the expo is grabbing the attention of tech enthusiasts everywhere.
One of the highlights this year is the brand-new “Digital and Smart Manufacturing of CEEC” section. Spanning 1,400 square meters and featuring 37 enterprises, this area showcases over 30 groundbreaking technologies in artificial intelligence, robotics, and aviation from China and CEEC nations.
Chinese humanoid robot companies are making a splash at the expo. Companies like Unitree Technology, Robot Era, and Junpu Intelligence are presenting their latest creations. These robots aren’t just cool gadgets—they can walk like humans, identify scents, greet guests, deliver water, and even perform motion capture. It’s a clear display of China’s advancements in robotics.
But it’s not just about China. CEEC countries are bringing their own technological marvels to the table. In aviation and bio-health, there’s plenty to see. Austria’s Diamond Aircraft is showcasing advanced aviation technology. Serbia is turning heads with high-tech maritime safety sensors, and Slovakia’s medical equipment highlights achievements in healthcare technology. Visitors can also dive into Hungary’s VR Park for an immersive virtual reality experience that brings Hungarian history and culture to life.
There’s also a buzz around electric vehicles (EVs). Slovenia and Slovakia recently opposed the EU’s proposed tariff hike on Chinese electric vehicles, hinting at potential collaborations in new energy vehicles and battery technologies. Slovakia, known for its strong car manufacturing industry, is accelerating its shift to electric mobility. With Volvo’s new EV plant and Chinese battery giant Gotion High-Tech investing in Slovakia, the future looks electric.
Slovak Ambassador to China, Peter Lizak, emphasized his country’s eagerness to strengthen ties with China across various sectors, especially in the EV industry. He praised Ningbo’s crucial role in fostering China-CEEC cooperation and highlighted Slovakia’s showcase of automotive tech, crystal glassware, and tourism attractions at the expo.
The China-CEEC Expo is more than just an exhibition; it’s a platform for countries to share technological achievements and spark innovation. As the expo continues, many are hopeful that new partnerships and breakthroughs will emerge, fueling global technological progress and economic growth.
