Ningbo, China — At the 4th China-Central and Eastern European Countries Expo, Slovak journalist Juraj Skacan discovered a wealth of opportunities for businesses looking to enter the Chinese market.
As the editor of Trend, a leading Slovak business magazine, Skacan attended the expo for the first time. He was impressed by the scale of the event and the potential it holds for Slovak brands.
“The expo is a fantastic platform for Slovak companies to showcase their products and connect with Chinese partners,” said Skacan in an interview with CGTN’s Cui Yingjie. “There’s a big potential here that’s yet to be fully tapped.”
Skacan noted that sectors like technology, manufacturing, and agriculture offer promising opportunities. “Chinese consumers are increasingly interested in high-quality European goods,” he explained. “Slovakia has a lot to offer in terms of innovation and craftsmanship.”
He believes that enhanced visibility at events like the expo can help Slovak businesses break into the Chinese market. “It’s all about building relationships and understanding each other’s cultures,” he added.
