Over 120 delegates, including government officials, experts, scholars, and business leaders from China and nine Pacific Island Countries (PICs), gathered in Liaocheng City, east China’s Shandong Province, on Wednesday for a significant roundtable on rural revitalization cooperation and exchange.
The event also marked the third anniversary of the China-Pacific Island Countries Climate Action Cooperation Center. Participants expressed their commitment to deepening friendship and enhancing exchanges between China and the PICs, with a particular focus on Liaocheng City and Shandong Province.
They pledged to continue practical cooperation in various fields, explore new cooperative relationships, and promote sustainable development. The discussions centered on collaborative efforts to bolster rural development and address climate challenges.
