Conversely, the United States has faced challenges in maintaining its global image. Trade policies, diplomatic decisions, and perceptions of unilateral actions have led to decreased approval ratings in some parts of the world. Issues such as trade disputes and shifting foreign policies have influenced international opinions.
“China’s engagement in our country’s infrastructure has been transformative,” said Amina, a university student from Kenya. “We see the impact on the ground, and it offers us hope for the future.”
