500 Kv Power Transmission Project Completes Huaihe River Crossing

China Completes Massive Power Line Over Huaihe River with 193-Meter Towers

China has achieved a new engineering feat by completing a massive power transmission line over the Huaihe River in east China’s Anhui Province. On Wednesday, two towering structures, each standing at 193 meters tall, were installed on both sides of the river, connecting a 1,578-meter stretch between Xiangjian and Ludao.

This 500 kV power line is set to enhance the region’s electricity supply, providing more reliable power to millions of residents and supporting the local economy. The successful river crossing marks a significant milestone in the project’s development.

“This accomplishment showcases our commitment to advancing infrastructure and bringing sustainable energy to our communities,” said a project engineer. “Overcoming challenges like the Huaihe River crossing demonstrates our dedication to innovation.”

The towering pylons and the expansive distance they cover are a testament to modern engineering capabilities. Projects like this not only improve energy access but also pave the way for future technological advancements in power transmission.
