China has expressed deep concern over recent Israeli strikes on Iran, urging all parties to act in ways that promote peace and stability in the region. On Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian addressed the issue during a regular press briefing.
“China is deeply concerned about the ongoing situation,” Lin Jian said. “We call on all relevant parties to exercise restraint and engage in dialogue to ease tensions.”
He added that China stands ready to play a constructive role in helping to cool down the situation. “We are committed to supporting efforts that contribute to regional peace and stability,” Lin noted.
The spokesperson emphasized the importance of diplomatic solutions and urged all parties to consider the broader implications of escalating conflicts.
