Pla Patrols South China Sea Stays Alert for Destabilizing Activities

PLA Conducts Joint Patrols in South China Sea, Remains Vigilant

The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command carried out joint sea-air patrols in the South China Sea on Saturday, according to a statement released on Sunday. Spokesperson Tian Junli emphasized the readiness of the armed forces to respond to any activities that could destabilize the region.

\”The armed forces remain on high alert for any potential threats,\” Tian said. He pointed out that recent attempts by the Philippines to collaborate with external nations for \”joint patrols\” have increased security risks and undermined peace and stability in the South China Sea.

\”All military activities aiming to cause trouble or create flashpoints in the region are under our full control,\” Tian added, reaffirming the PLA’s commitment to safeguarding regional security.
