Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded his visit to Kazakhstan on Wednesday, leaving the capital city of Astana after attending the second China-Central Asia Summit.
As President Xi’s plane prepared for departure, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, along with other senior officials, bid him farewell at the airport. In a display of respect and camaraderie, Kazakh Air Force fighter jets escorted President Xi’s plane as it took to the skies.
The journey to the airport was lined with representatives from Chinese enterprises and overseas students studying in Kazakhstan. Waving the national flags of China and Kazakhstan, they gathered to express their warm congratulations on President Xi’s successful participation in the summit.
The second China-Central Asia Summit marked a significant step in strengthening ties between China and Central Asian nations. Discussions focused on enhancing regional cooperation, economic development, and mutual support among the member countries.
